Hi, my name is Arek, I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Wrocław Tech. My research focuses on energy forecasting and social simulation. I hold a BSc in Quantum Engineering and an MSc in Big Data Analytics.
Right now, I’m mostly invested in research on probabilistic forecasting and reconciliation for day-ahead electricity markets using statistical methods and deep learning models. I also study opinion dynamics and emergent social phenomena through the lens of agent-based models and dynamical systems, with a particular interest in polarization and anticonformity.
